SIMPLE STYLISH AFFORDABLE
Our clients moved to San Jose from Chicago and wanted to embark on a complete redo to a tired Almaden home. So, phase by phase we transformed the home into a beautiful and fresh design that feels timeless and elegant.
In phase 1, we stripped the floors and changed the hardwood, added all new paint on the walls and kitchen cabinets, added new quartz countertops and a glass subway tile in the kitchen. We redesigned the fireplace and created custom storage for the family room which was lacking any functional storage. We changed out all the lighting including a “wow” Currey & Co. recycled glass chandelier for the entry way, sourced custom window treatments and brought in all new furniture and accessories for the whole home.
Phase 2 consisted of redoing the master retreat and guest bath and Phase 3 was all about finishing up the last 2 bathrooms of the home by giving the cabinets a fresh paint thanks to paint and changing out all the fixtures and hardware in the spaces.
This last portion of the big redo also included a big overhaul for the Master Bath were we sourced beautiful marble tile and clad the entire vanity wall in tile.
Overall, a harmonious palette was created through the use of a neutral base, injected with pops of color and layers of varying textures to give the family a space to love for a long time.

The young homeowners of this new build “California Craftsman” wanted a home that was inviting, thoughtful and comfortable. STYLE WISE started on this project with the couple at the very early stages when finishes, fixtures and paint still had to get selected. A neutral palette of materials was chosen so that warm accents (like cabinetry) and wow factors like the oversized artwork, custom pocket doors to the office and a handmade custom live-edge table could speak loudly and clearly. Craftsman touches throughout the cabinetry and woodwork in the home are perfect for this Menlo Park property. Tailored yet comfortable furnishings were added throughout the home that allow this young couple to freely entertain family and friends alike. Even their pup Dexter loves his new home!

Glamour is the name of the game for this gorgeous flat in the 8th arrondissement in Paris.
For Victoria's first international project, she went all out with this client's favorite jewel tones, lush materials, and statement light fixtures. The wall between the kitchen and dining/living room was removed to create an American-inspired “open concept”, the trim was painted black to add contrast to the previously all-white walls, and the wood floors were re-stained to tone down the yellowed oak. Throughout the home, bold colors took center stage with a deep turquoise office/guest quarters and rich sapphire with silver enchant the master bedroom for a luxurious look. In the kitchen, the client had the great idea of adding a bench at the end of the new waterfall countertop, which led to the creation of a mini Parisian-inspired bistro vignette. In the main living space of the home, the only must-have was two custom velvet fuchsia sofas in the living room, then from there, fun prints in turquoises and purples were mixed in for a rich, layered atmosphere.
Amazingly, almost everything was sourced from the U.S. and shipped over to Paris. The Parisian project came to an end with a fun-filled trip to Paris where fabulous accessories to personalize the overall design were sourced and hand selected.

STYLE WISE was happy top share in the design of this revolutionary project. We started on this project and saw it grow from ground up. We selected all the materials including the countertops, stone, tile, wood floors, hardware, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, siding, paint, doors, and cabinetry. We worked closely with a local kitchen design company to custom build the gourmet kitchen and went full sleek modern with the bathroom finishes and cabinetry selection . Check out this very special and style focused detail: horizontal grain, walnut, frameless interior doors - adding a very special quality to an otherwise ordinary object.

Rich colors and textured furnishings were added to highlight the beauty in each unique rug and space. Unique wall art, funky accent furniture was chosen for this space to add the final touch in creating an intriguing and joyous experience throughout the home.
The young homeowners of this Almaden Hills estate, along with their pup and beautiful new baby girl, were up for the challenge of taking a builder grade home and customizing it. This colorful, bohemian home in San Jose pays homage to the resident's Indian heritage while still reflecting their modern lifestyle. These clients were very hands-on and were very involved in every part of the design plan. The most enjoyable part was sourcing one-of-a-kind items from artisans from around the world. Local artist JC Riccoboni drew the golden Tree of Life mural in the library, drawing inspiration from a book of contemporary Indian interior design borrowed from the client's library. Vibrant colors and bold patterns take center stage in this design tailored to the clients zest for all things beautiful!
Believe it or not, this San Jose bachelor pad originally had lime green paint on the walls when our client purchased it. He was of course eager for us to create a more livable, beautiful space, but did not have strong preferences for what he wanted to see. So, he left the decision making to us and we cultivated a sophisticated and contemporary design plan - perfect for entertaining and relaxing.
The design of this stately Orinda home reflects this client's elegant, yet warm style sensibilities with rich textures and refined accents. A subtle and soothing color palette was chosen to enhance the connection between the rooms of the home as well as allowing the architectural details of the home to shine.
