SIMPLE STYLISH AFFORDABLE
Our clients moved to San Jose from Chicago and wanted to embark on a complete redo to a tired Almaden home. So, phase by phase we transformed the home into a beautiful and fresh design that feels timeless and elegant.
In phase 1, we stripped the floors and changed the hardwood, added all new paint on the walls and kitchen cabinets, added new quartz countertops and a glass subway tile in the kitchen. We redesigned the fireplace and created custom storage for the family room which was lacking any functional storage. We changed out all the lighting including a “wow” Currey & Co. recycled glass chandelier for the entry way, sourced custom window treatments and brought in all new furniture and accessories for the whole home.
Phase 2 consisted of redoing the master retreat and guest bath and Phase 3 was all about finishing up the last 2 bathrooms of the home by giving the cabinets a fresh paint thanks to paint and changing out all the fixtures and hardware in the spaces.
This last portion of the big redo also included a big overhaul for the Master Bath were we sourced beautiful marble tile and clad the entire vanity wall in tile.
Overall, a harmonious palette was created through the use of a neutral base, injected with pops of color and layers of varying textures to give the family a space to love for a long time.
